"The Plan of the Master Weaver"
My life is but a weaving
Between the Lord and me,
I may not choose the colors,
He knows what they should be;
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side
While I can see it only
On this, the under side.
Sometimes He weaveth sorrow,
Which seemeth strange to me;
But I will trust His judgment,
And work on faithfully;
'Tis He who fills the shuttle,
And He knows what is best,
So I shall weave in earnest,
Leaving to Him the rest.
Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why--
The Dark threads are as needed
In the Weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

Finally!
The inspiration I was waiting for to blog about our wonderful reunion with our long lost grand-daughter and niece Nicole...
I think I know how I want to say it now and after my church service today I will try and put it into print along with a selection of my myriad photos of the occasion. Thank you readers for your patience. I trust you can understand that it is difficult to articulate the feelings we have upon meeting the child of our deceased daughter and sister after twelve years of waiting and wondering. So often the raw reality of our experiences in this life cannot be understood or explained - they must simply be accepted in deference to the Master Weaver.
This I know for sure: Each life has a plan and a purpose, both of which WILL be fulfilled!
I will endeavour to honour this truth as I 'unravel' the journey to Naples in November.
